DAS Built for Your Space
In-building Distributed Antenna Systems have become a critical part of both carrier cellular networks and enterprise infrastructure. But as the technology has evolved over the last 20 years it has become increasingly complex. WZC Networking offers custom solutions aimed at crafting the perfect plan for your DAS & Cellular systems.
In its most simplified form, a DAS has two basic components:
1. A Signal Source: A Distributed Antenna System, as the name implies, “distributes” signal. But it generally doesn’t generate the cellular signal itself. A DAS needs to be fed signal from somewhere. Whether it's 4G LTE or 5G, there are four typical signal sources: off-air (via an antenna on the roof), an on-site BTS (Base Transceiver Station), and finally the newest approach: small cells.
2. Distribution System: Once received, the cellular signal must be distributed throughout the building. There are four main types of distribution systems: active (using fiber optic or Ethernet cable), passive, hybrid, and digital.
Every DAS system is tailored to the unique layout and needs of your facility, whether for a corporate office, healthcare facility, or large commercial building. Our expertise ensures optimal signal strength and coverage across all areas.
From initial site surveys and system design to installation, testing, and maintenance, we provide full-service DAS solutions, ensuring consistent signal performance and ongoing support for your system.
Wireless
Connectivity
Instead of deploying expensive, traditional DAS infrastructure, Wi-DAS utilizes Wi-Fi access points as a network of antennas to improve wireless signal strength and capacity within buildings.
Support
Our DAS solutions support multiple carriers, ensuring your facility provides strong signals for all major cellular providers. This eliminates spotty coverage, dead zones and ensures uninterrupted service regardless of the carrier.

DAS enhances cellular coverage by eliminating dead zones and boosting weak signals in areas where traditional cellular networks may not reach, such as basements or areas surrounded by thick walls. With our multi-carrier DAS solutions, you can improve signal strength for all major mobile carriers, ensuring reliable voice and data services across your facility.
Carrier coordination is crucial in DAS deployment to ensure that all major networks are integrated and operational. We handle all aspects of carrier coordination, working closely with providers to secure the necessary agreements, frequency allocations, and signal strength configurations. This ensures that your DAS system supports all carriers and delivers reliable coverage across all networks.
No, our DAS solutions are designed to work in harmony with your existing Wi-Fi network. We carefully assess your building’s wireless needs and ensure that the DAS and Wi-Fi systems are properly configured to complement each other without interference.
DAS is specifically designed to handle high-capacity environments by distributing signals through a network of antennas. We optimize DAS for high-density areas, ensuring each access point can manage multiple simultaneous connections without compromising signal strength or performance, providing seamless coverage even during peak usage.
Our multi-carrier DAS solutions are designed to be future-proof, with scalability built into the architecture. We use modular components and flexible cabling systems that allow for easy upgrades or expansion as technology evolves or as your capacity needs increase. This ensures your system can adapt to new frequencies and future carrier technologies like 5G.
For buildings with complex structures or potential interference, we conduct comprehensive RF surveys and use advanced design tools to strategically place antennas and equipment. This ensures strong, consistent signals across all areas, even in hard-to-reach spaces like basements, parking garages, or rooms with heavy concrete or metal barriers.
DAS is generally more suited for large buildings or campuses than small cell solutions, as it provides more consistent and widespread coverage. While small cells work well for targeted areas, DAS is designed to cover large, complex spaces with multiple users and devices, providing robust coverage throughout an entire facility without creating dead zones.
Yes, our DAS systems are 5G-ready, designed to support advanced technologies and future network upgrades. We ensure the infrastructure is in place for seamless transitions to 5G, and we offer ongoing upgrade services as new carrier technologies emerge, so your system stays up-to-date with the latest advancements.
DAS systems require regular maintenance to ensure they continue to operate at peak performance. We provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance services, ensuring that any signal issues or system updates are promptly addressed. Our team also performs periodic system checks to keep everything running smoothly.
